Sprinkle Wedding Cake

This is the most recent cake we have done, from here we are going to play catch-up and work backwards to post all of the cakes we have done the past few years(just in case anybody was wondering). This cake was for my younger sister Schuyler and her fiance Bryan (now husband and wife). They are a young, fun couple AND she really doesn't like cake, so they were up for whatever I suggested. We originally saw this kind of cake on Pinterest, thought it was FUN, so we replicated it with a little of their personal touches. The cakes alternated flavors, chocolate with custard filling and vanilla with raspberry filling, and were iced with buttercream frosting and then COVERED with sprinkles. The sprinkles are the primary color jimmies, with more blue and black added(their wedding colors). The final touch was the Monogram on top, which is the first letter of her new last name. The following pics are with our phone, hopefully we have some professional pics to come! Congratulations Bryan and Schuyler!!!

Spiderman Cake

This cake was for a little boy who loves superheros, especially Spiderman.  What boy doesn't go through a stage of being obsessed with Spiderman????  It was a chocolate and vanilla cake filled and iced with Buttercream, then covered in Fondant Icing.  The small touches were done with Fondant, Gumpaste, and Royal Icing.  Happy Birthday Spiderboy!!

Hockey Cake

This hockey cake was for a little boy who absolutely LOVES hockey!!! The "ice" was white cake covered in buttercream and then fondant, accompanied by a fondant hockey stick.  The chocolate and vanilla cupcakes were iced with colored whip cream and then adorned with pucks, chocolate covered oreos.  Simple design, but one of my faves!!
